so I've been battling with the best way to make a new material from recycled coffee grounds. Now I've teamed up with Adam Fairweather and Re-Worked who has done a lot more in depth investigation into the processes and we just received our first sample of the sheet material.
It's made by mixing recycled plastics with the grounds , so it's 99.9% recycled and has a lovely mottled almost leather-like texture.
We've put a few furniture pieces together and will be showing In the GreenShoots section of Ecobuild, 2-4th March (this week) ... come and see us !
